Ceramic Gaming Token Coin Pendant

Gambling houses have existed in Asia for hundreds of years. Ceramic tokens were made in the late 18th century and used by several such gambling houses in the Indo-china region at that time. Each token is different and each inscription is different, often giving the name of the gambling house, the denomination of the token, or the name of the game for which the token was accepted. Each token is quite lovely, with wonderful porcelain colors and workmanship.
